Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tracklounge (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Guttae AB (org. no. 559266-9948), Bergsgatan 23, 112 28 Stockholm, Sweden ("Tracklounge", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Tracklounge is

Tracklounge is a platform where music creators ("Creators") find experienced reviewers ("Reviewers") who provide paid, structured feedback on tracks.

The feedback is supplied by the Reviewer to the Creator. The agreement to provide a review, and the review itself, is between the Creator and the Reviewer. Tracklounge is not the supplier of the review and is not a party to that agreement. Reviewers act on their own behalf and are independent of Tracklounge. They are not our employees, agents, or subcontractors.

What we provide is the platform itself: we list requests, let Reviewers apply, collect and hold payment on the Reviewer's behalf (see section 3), run a quality check on delivered feedback, and enforce our delivery standards. Those are services we provide to Creators and Reviewers to make the exchange work. They do not make us the supplier of the feedback, and we do not guarantee any particular artistic or commercial outcome.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • Reviewers must be approved by us before they can accept paid work.

3. Payments, fees, and escrow

The amount a Creator pays when choosing a Reviewer is the price for that Reviewer's service. Tracklounge collects that amount from the Creator as agent on the Reviewer's behalf. We are not selling the review to the Creator, we are collecting the Reviewer's payment for them.

Payment is held securely (in escrow) and released to the Reviewer only after the feedback has been delivered, passed our quality check, and the holding period has completed.

Platform commission. Tracklounge charges the Reviewer a commission for use of the platform, currently 20% of the price. We deduct it from the amount we release to the Reviewer, so the Reviewer receives the price less our commission. The commission is our fee to the Reviewer. It is not an additional charge to the Creator, and the Creator pays no more than the price shown at checkout.

Once Reviewers apply, a Creator has 72 hours to choose one. If they do not, the listing closes and the applicants are released; it can be relisted for free. A Creator may cancel a listing for free any time before choosing (and paying for) a Reviewer. After payment, the engagement is committed, and refunds are handled through our late-review protection, a Reviewer stepping down, or a dispute.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By using the Service you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars. Where a Reviewer is required to charge VAT or another sales tax on their services, that tax is included in the price shown at checkout.

  • Reviewers are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on what they earn through the Service, including VAT, GST, or sales tax where they are registered or required to register, and any income or self-employment tax.
  • Our platform commission is our own supply to the Reviewer and may be subject to VAT. Where required, we will provide Reviewers with documentation for it.
  • We may be required to report Reviewer earnings to tax authorities (for example, under EU platform reporting rules) and will do so where the law requires it. We may ask Reviewers for the information needed to comply.
  • Nothing in these Terms is tax advice. If you are unsure of your obligations, please speak to your own adviser.

5. Content and intellectual property

  • Creators keep all rights to the music they upload. You grant Reviewers and us a limited license to access your track solely to provide and operate the feedback service.
  • Reviewers must treat unreleased music as strictly confidential and may not share, distribute, or reuse it for any purpose.
  • The feedback a Reviewer delivers is provided to the Creator for the Creator's own use.
  • You must have the rights to any content you upload and must not infringe anyone else's intellectual property.

6. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You may not misuse the Service, attempt to circumvent payments or fees, harass other users, upload unlawful content, or use the Service in a way that harms Tracklounge or its users.

7. Quality and disputes

Delivered feedback is reviewed by our quality team before it reaches the Creator. If a Creator believes a delivered review does not meet a reasonable standard, they may raise a dispute, which our team reviews and resolves (for example, by arranging a re-review or a refund). A Creator has 14 days after delivery to request a revision or raise a dispute. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

We run these checks to keep the standard of feedback high and to decide whether escrowed payment is released. Doing so does not make us the supplier of the feedback.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Feedback is the personal opinion of the Reviewer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tracklounge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the transaction in question.

9. Reviewer commitments

Applying to review a track is a commitment to deliver feedback if chosen. A Reviewer who cannot complete an accepted review may step down before delivering; the Creator is then refunded in full and the track is relisted. Stepping down more than 24 hours after accepting, and missing a delivery deadline, each count as a strike. Three strikes pause a Reviewer's access to paid work.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, including Reviewers who repeatedly miss delivery deadlines.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
