House music feedback from house producers and DJs
Updated
Upload your house track and get a structured, timestamped review from a vetted producer or DJ who makes house: deep, tech, afro, melodic, progressive, lo-fi or disco. You set the price, and every review is quality checked before it reaches you.
What do reviewers listen for in a house track?
- Groove and swing. Hat and percussion placement, shuffle, and whether the loop makes people move.
- Kick and bass relationship. Sidechain, sub weight and how the low end translates to a club system.
- Arrangement for DJs. Mixable intro and outro, phrasing in 8 and 16 bars, and tension across breakdowns.
- Sound selection. Chords, stabs and vocal chops that sound current for your subgenre.
What are the most common problems in house tracks?
- Loops that never develop, so the track feels long.
- Muddy low mids from pads and bass stacking up around 200 to 400 Hz.
- Intros too short or too busy for a DJ to mix in.
- Over-compressed masters that lose the groove's bounce.
